Shana Danon is an artist and surface designer who creates vibrant paintings and prints from her Bondi studio, Emilio Frank Design.
Inspired by her passion for Mid Century Modernism, Shana creates work for those who love to live colourfully.
Shana's work celebrates colour with the intention to evoke joyful energy and create happy memories.
Growing up in a family of artists, encouraged Shana to create with various media, including acrylics, pencil, ink, digital brushes and block printing.
Recent artworks have been seen on Selling Houses and House Rules, with collections licensed for rug design, fashion, wallpaper and textile collections including New York Fashion Week 2020.
Shana's work has been included in 'Pattern Pulse' a coffee table book featuring 100 Australian Surface Designers, their studies, practices and histories, launched Oct 2020.
Shana's first public artwork was installed at a traffic light signal box in Five Dock, Sydney May 2017.
Shana's artwork 'Sunset in the Village' was commissioned by Lane Cove Council for their summer festival 2022 for flags, billboards and posters. Her artwork 'Streets of Your Town' artwork was commissioned for Shana to complete a painted
Street Library for Lane Cove, June 2022.
