Artist statement:
”After our annual family trip to Australia Zoo, I was left thinking about what I learned about crocodile egg harvesting. Admittedly crocodiles aren’t my “favourite” animal. But there’s something about the new QLD legislation that allows crocodile farmers to harvest eggs from the wild for luxury goods, that doesn’t sit right with me.”

The original artwork was exhibited in my solo exhibition, 'Mid-sentence' (2022) at Gatakers Artspace in Maryborough, QLD.
