Veni vidi vici

Veni Vidi Vici reimagines the ancient declaration of conquest through a symbolic still life, where beauty, fragility, and mortality converge. At the center, a deep blue vessel, alive with floral patterns, cradles wilting red blooms—flowers that both celebrate life and foreshadow its inevitable decline.

The work reflects on the paradox of victory: every conquest carries within it the seeds of impermanence. The roses, painted like emblems, frame the composition as both symbols of love and as reminders of how beauty fades. By weaving these contrasting elements together, Veni Vidi Vici questions whether conquest is an act of permanence or simply another fleeting moment in the cycle of life, death, and renewal.
