My work is happy and energetic. Rooted in Expressionism and Impressionism, using bold oil paints to express emotion, movement, and the energy of life. I explore both landscape and figurative subjects, aiming to capture the dynamic flow of human experience through vibrant textures and expressive brush strokes.
Influenced by artists such as Brett Whiteley, Edgar Degas and Vincent Van Gogh, I draw from Whiteley's energetic abstraction, Dega's studies of the human form and movement, and Van Gogh's emotive use of colour.
In all my work, I seek to go beyond representation, capturing not only what is seen but what is felt. I want to convey the emotional depth, vitality and hope that define our connection to the world around us.
