Shannon went on a deep-dive into Australian insects to discover the (stunning) Neon Cuckoo Bee and instantly fell in love! The iridescent blues and contrasted blacks of this pretty little insect instantly captivated Shannon's imagination! 

It's often the 'personality' of an animal that captures Shannon's imagination and spurs her creativity into creation. Insects, though, don't really showcase a 'personality' as such which makes them harder to 'connect' with...
