A love haze

This multimedia piece is a beautiful blend of acrylic paint, textures, the 3D and leafing. The hearts which have been adhered to the purple acrylic background (by 3D foam squares) are cut out from pieces of mono-printed card stock, made by myself. Each heart has its own unique pattern, made of purples, white, pinks and gold paints (with a splash of glitter). The pops of colour and different patterns make you want to admire each heart separately, and then as a collective.
To finish off this piece gold leafing was added to the border, to give that extra bit of opulence. A sealer was used to finish off the piece.
This piece, although small, will stand out in any room.
