The Rainbow Explosion

This is a vibrant, textured artwork that would give any room a pop of colour and sparkle.
Created using overlapping monoprints of various colours, glitter was then added to compliment the colours and help make different light reflections.
The prints then continue over the edges of the painting.

Traditionally a printmaker (etchings in particular), I love creating anything that celebrates form and texture. My latest ventures have taken me into the world of mixed media paintings, which use mono-printing practices that are vibrant in colour, with non-traditional materials such as glitters and diamanté’s.
The process of creating a piece of art brings me such joy and a sense of accomplishment, and so I hope I too can bring that happiness to someone else.
