“Tide” captures the quiet pull and rhythm of shifting water through subtle gradients of blue and layered texture. The soft fade mimics the ebb and flow of the sea, where movement is constant yet gentle. Through its tactile surface, the piece evokes the sensation of standing at the shoreline—where time slows, and the presence of water becomes both grounding and infinite. Tide is a meditation on impermanence, rhythm, and the calm power of natural forces.

Shannon's work uses texture and colour to create pieces that have mystery and movement. She takes her inspiration from nature and paints intuitively. She allows herself to be immersed in the process of creating lines and shapes that work together to create a seamless piece that flows naturally and allows the eye to gaze upon the multiple layers of pattern.

The aim of Shannon's art is to create wonder and provoke the senses, what you see in each creation is entirely what the mind creates, from the magic of the pattern and depth.

With the deep connection to nature she also enjoys capturing the Australian landscape and has a fascination with space, occasionally releasing a small amount of photographic prints.
