Sweet Winter and Rose is a romantic and timeless pressed flower piece featuring some of the most cherished blooms from my Melbourne garden. At the heart of this bouquet are bold red roses and soft winter roses, beautifully framed by Queen’s Lace, lavender, alyssum, and å…出花 (snowflake lilies). Each flower was picked at its peak, gently pressed, and arranged into a hand-tied bouquet—finished with a soft pink ribbon for that perfect touch of romance.
What makes this piece extra special is the sky-blue background, hand-dyed by me using natural methods. It brings a sense of calm and airiness, like the bouquet is floating gently in a clear sky.
I designed this artwork to feel like a preserved moment—something you might gift to someone you love, or keep as a reminder of life’s quiet, beautiful pauses. Everything is sealed and carefully framed to last, using no artificial colour—just nature, preserved with love and patience.
