Cherry Red Ed. 2 of 100

I wanted to play around with some deeper reds and thought that cherries would be a wonderful subject to showcase the rich colours. It was also a lot of fun to play around with focus, as some of the cherries are more detailed while some are happy just sitting faded in the background.

I’m an Australian based artist whose love of coloured pencils didn’t stop in preschool! I have been taking art more seriously for the last three years, but I began teaching myself how to draw over ten years ago. I have experience with oil paints and acrylics, however, I now primarily produce art using prismacolour pencils.

Until recently I have drawn only as a hobby but am looking to branch out and make a business out of something that brings me a lot of joy.
