I created this artwork because I was drawn in by the neon colours in the reference photograph. It's also an interesting piece because it's a very intimate moment, so it feels as though the viewer is almost intruding by looking at it - but you can't seem to look away, either.

I’m an Australian based artist whose love of coloured pencils didn’t stop in preschool! I have been taking art more seriously for the last three years, but I began teaching myself how to draw over ten years ago. I have experience with oil paints and acrylics, however, I now primarily produce art using prismacolour pencils.

Until recently I have drawn only as a hobby but am looking to branch out and make a business out of something that brings me a lot of joy.
