I wanted to draw something that had several layers to the drawing and make somebody stop and look closely at all the small details. The bubble-wrap feels like a barrier between the viewer and the man behind the plastic and can either be taken as a fun/whimsical interaction or something potentially sinister depending on how you look at it.

I’m an Australian based artist whose love of coloured pencils didn’t stop in preschool! I have been taking art more seriously for the last three years, but I began teaching myself how to draw over ten years ago. I have experience with oil paints and acrylics, however, I now primarily produce art using prismacolour pencils.

Until recently I have drawn only as a hobby but am looking to branch out and make a business out of something that brings me a lot of joy.
