Three ladies is a take on my family tree in which I am somewhat foreign to. The relationship of the ladies in my painting are a contradiction to my own relationship with my mother and sister. As a white fourth generation south sea islander, I am very much removed from my culture however I am still curious to find and savor any connectedness I feel.
