Walking through the gardens of historical buildings never fails to tug at the heartstrings. ‘Billilla’ really encapsulates the romance of a bygone era in a contemporary impressionistic style that would suit any home or office decor. Built in 1878, the general public can still explore the lovely gardens and admire what is undoubtedly one of Bayside, Melbourne’s most iconic buildings. This view shows the left side as you walk through the gates, up the driveway past agapanthus gardens.

DeSailly's contemporary impressionist approach lends itself to any subject.
