Eucalyptus torquata, commonly known as Coral or Coolgardie Gum, as the name suggests is a spectacular flowering gum tree endemic to Western Australia. Even in the midst of extraordinary events all over the world this year, some things never change. The seasons come and go, flowers bloom, birds nest and the magnificence of nature is all around us to enjoy, especially as we are entering Spring in Australia. This painting is an acknowledgement of the inevitability of change and the exquisite beauty of nature. My hope is that person who chooses this painting for their home or workplace will always be reminded that the world continues to be a bountiful, lovely and inspirational place.
This acrylic and oil flowering gum painting is 61cm (24β) square and is a highly detailed, colourful work of art that would be delightful in either a home or office. It is protected by Winsor&Newton satin oil varnish and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
