Artwork Description

This whimsical abstract landscape takes the viewer on a delightful journey into a colourful yet peaceful river scene. Bright light filters through the distant forest behind the foreground riverside gums, with intriguing shapes and colour pops suggesting what is beyond and compelling the viewer to look deeper into the scene.

I’ve used a contemporary colour palette predominantly in variations of blue and pink contrasted with neutral earthy tones, using bold pallet knife and brush marks with details that convey a sense of optimism and compel the viewer to look closer. The more you look, the more details emerge.

Painted in textured layers with professional quality materials, oil varnished for UV and dust protection and ready to hang.
