Sharon McElveney is a Sydney born - Gold Coast based Artist. Studying art from a young age but also largely self taught. Sharon's passion with the outdoors is a huge inspiration for her artwork, particularly visiting the beach to watch the sunrise and the waves rolling in from the open seas.... Sharon photographs the organic shapes and colours that are in abundance in her surroundings and uses them as references in her artworks. She is also inspired by the human form and faces, much of her artwork features eyes or a suggestion of a face. With over 30yrs experience in the Artworld, her work is complex and varied with two main styles in her ranges - organic abstracts and figurative abstract.
