Almost There! (Framed)

We've all been on road trips, and the trips with kids to the coast are the ones that are the most precious to me. Filled with anticipation for them (and me!) at what's to come; sun, surf and sand filled days where the stresses and worries and the routine and mundane of everyday life is left behind, even if just for a little while. It's holiday time! Kids aren't always patient, especially on roadtrips, so getting to the coast also means when we get there I stop hearing the "are we there yet?" and the fun and adventures can begin! Truth be told, I love hearing their questions, and look forward to when I can answer, "Almost there!", and seeing their faces light up in anticipation.

Created with palette knives on artist quality stretched cotton canvas, "Almost There!" is framed in a beautiful handcrafted solid Tas Oak frame. It is satin varnished and comes with a COA.

Sharon Rynehart is an impressionist palette knife artist widely recognised for her flowing, expressive style of the sea, land and sky. A former Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, Sharon had health issues a while ago that saw her turn to painting for therapy and healing. Transforming her creative practice into what she now calls ‘heartwork’; emotive, hope-fuelled pieces inspired by faith, connective memory and experience, and the beauty of our Australian coastlines and landscapes. Sharon uses her background in colour theory to create original artworks with beautiful colour harmonies that allow you to reflect on your own story; to finish the train of thought, to remember a time or place, and to explore and feel the emotions they instill. Artworks that are relatable, that invite you to reflect, force an exhale, evoke a sense of calm…and bring you hope.

Sharon enjoyed recent success as a Finalist in Art to Art’s acclaimed “Unearthed” Art Prize, and has been fortunate to have several of her artworks featured on Channel 9’s “The Block” TV show. She has also had pieces featured in Grand Designs Australia Magazine. Sharon has gallery representation in both Brisbane and Melbourne and apart from these galleries, her works can be viewed in person tri-annually at the Affordable Art Fairs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Now widely collected both in Australia and Internationally, Sharon’s pieces continue to resonate with many, inspiring calm and connection through an uplifting sense of place and emotion. They are a reminder to always look for light and hope…no matter the trials and challenges we all face.
