Counting my blessings...because there's so many. Even on the days that are not as bright, or that bit harder to take, I'm reminded of the numerous blessings still to be found, if we choose to look for them.
It's often in the things we take for granted, like the warmth of a sunrise or sunset that seemingly wraps us in a gentle soft embrace. Or the unexpected colour harmonies in nature that are beautiful to behold, lifting tired spirits. Or maybe it's in the promise of Summer, with its coastal aqua waters and lush headlands to explore on a much needed holiday away from the mundane. Embodying all these blessings is this pretty coastal landscape. I don't need to look far to count the blessings when artwork like this evokes it all for me. I hope it does you too.
Created on 500 gsm stretched primed linen, it is framed in a solid Tas Oak timber frame. It has been satin varnished to protect the archival integrity for many years to come, and will come with a COA.
Thank you for viewing "Counting My Blessings". I'm most grateful you stopped by.
NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone and textures of my work, which is more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space.
