Artwork Description

Definition of Incessant: Persevering, relentless, never giving up, beyond what we can fathom, unceasing, never ending, endless, untiring, constant.

Just like the Ocean.
Just like HOPE.

This painting has a recycled timber frame and therefore has characteristics of recycled timber which should not be considered flaws. I’ve taken photos of edges so you can see the variances. The top panel of frame would be considered the most characterized but it’s been strategically framed so that when on a wall you don’t see this top panel anyway. The colour of this frame would be considered Rose Gum.

Artist Bio

ā€œā€¦painting stories evoking light and hope.ā€

Sharon Rynehart is an impressionist palette knife artist widely recognised for her flowing, expressive style of the sea, land and sky. A former Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, Sharon had health issues a while ago that saw her turn to painting for therapy and healing. Transforming her creative practice into what she now calls ā€˜heartwork’; emotive, hope-fuelled pieces inspired by faith, connective memory and experience, and the beauty of our Australian coastlines and landscapes. Sharon uses her background in colour theory to create original artworks with beautiful colour harmonies that allow you to reflect on your own story; to finish the train of thought, to remember a time or place, and to explore and feel the emotions they instill. Artworks that are relatable, that invite you to reflect, force an exhale, evoke a sense of calm…and bring you hope.

Sharon enjoyed recent success as a Finalist in Art to Art’s acclaimed ā€œUnearthedā€ Art Prize, and has been fortunate to have several of her artworks featured on Channel 9’s ā€œThe Blockā€ TV show. She has also had pieces featured in Grand Designs Australia Magazine. Sharon has gallery representation in both Brisbane and Melbourne and apart from these galleries, her works can be viewed in person tri-annually at the Affordable Art Fairs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Now widely collected both in Australia and Internationally, Sharon’s pieces continue to resonate with many, inspiring calm and connection through an uplifting sense of place and emotion. They are a reminder to always look for light and hope…no matter the trials and challenges we all face.
