Once Again

"Once again I find myself here. Lost in reflection and wonder; an embracing warmth from the sinking sun, rhythmic waves meeting golden sands, the rugged beauty of rocky shoreline, a beautiful blurred horizon. But I can see clearly here. It is here I return time and time again. This place brings me comfort when I can't find it elsewhere. I can breathe longer, slower, deeper, inhaling and exhaling until quiet contentment and a calm spirit find me again. Being here brings light, peace, hope and refuels my weary soul so I can once again face the challenges, the crazy, the chaos that so often is everyday life."

Created with palette knives on 12 oz stretched cotton canvas, this emotive artwork has been satin varnished, and is framed in a solid Tas Oak timber frame. It will come with a COA, which includes the artist statement above. Thanks for pausing to consider "Once Again".

Sharon Rynehart is an impressionist palette knife artist widely recognised for her flowing, expressive style of the sea, land and sky. A former Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, Sharon had health issues a while ago that saw her turn to painting for therapy and healing. Transforming her creative practice into what she now calls ‘heartwork’; emotive, hope-fuelled pieces inspired by faith, connective memory and experience, and the beauty of our Australian coastlines and landscapes. Sharon uses her background in colour theory to create original artworks with beautiful colour harmonies that allow you to reflect on your own story; to finish the train of thought, to remember a time or place, and to explore and feel the emotions they instill. Artworks that are relatable, that invite you to reflect, force an exhale, evoke a sense of calm…and bring you hope.

Sharon enjoyed recent success as a Finalist in Art to Art’s acclaimed “Unearthed” Art Prize, and has been fortunate to have several of her artworks featured on Channel 9’s “The Block” TV show. She has also had pieces featured in Grand Designs Australia Magazine. Sharon has gallery representation in both Brisbane and Melbourne and apart from these galleries, her works can be viewed in person tri-annually at the Affordable Art Fairs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Now widely collected both in Australia and Internationally, Sharon’s pieces continue to resonate with many, inspiring calm and connection through an uplifting sense of place and emotion. They are a reminder to always look for light and hope…no matter the trials and challenges we all face.
