Sharon studied a Diploma of Visual Arts (Fine Arts) in her 20s and has been consistently practicing her art ever since. She uses a variety of mediums, with her favourite form of expression being oil painting. She generally paints alla prima with a limited palette, and sometimes plein air.
Sharon is based on the NSW North Coast (east coast of Australia) in an area with rich natural beauty and high biodiversity value, that is a recognised world class ecotourist destination. She likes to paint light and beauty in the natural world around her.
