As a child, I always had a fascination for red foxes, despite the unpopularity yet appreciated the struggle some would face with these little animals however I couldn’t ignore the feelings I had when I would see one running through the tall country grass or close up on TV.
The colour of their dense fluffy fur, their white markings and the way they moved effortlessly, I found incredibly graceful and intelligence to match in which inspired me to paint.
Playing with acrylic inks in a watercolour style and pastel pencil for detail created a complimentary colour scheme within a dramatic beachy setting that the fox may roam free.
A white framed painting ready for hanging. This sweet sized painting would go really well in a room of similar/contrasting colouring or a minimalist colour scheme room to allow the colours to pop such as a small living rooms, bedrooms or hallways.
