Iโm Sharonne Nirens, an intuitive abstract artist based in Melbourne who has a passion for all things creative. I use a range of materials to create my work including paint, gouache, inks, watercolour, charcoal and anything else I may get my hands on.
I find inspiration in nature, from my friends and family and my curiosity in all things that involve the human body and what make us as humans behave the way we do. With a love for colour and pattern, I use my art as an expression of the way I perceive my life and the world that surrounds me.
I donโt have a particular style that I continually use, as my art will come from the responses that I have to the rhythm of life at that time. I believe life has a repetitive pattern in almost everything we do; the way time and seasons change, the way the human body works and what we as people do in our lives. I believe patterns and repetition are positive.
I use a range of colours in my art, as well as many repetitive small and large marks. These repetitive marks are my form of meditation.
My art is my Zen.
