Nature

My inspiration for this piece is about how humans interact with nature. We are surrounded by birds and their sounds. I wanted to express tranquility in this painting by my use of pastel harmonious palate.
It is on stretched canvas and sides of canvas are oainted green.

Creativity has been a driving force through every aspect of my life. I am drawn to soft harmonious colours and monocramatic themes. Everything in our universe is connected. The more we attempt to feel this connection the closer we get to our true nature. Animals and nature and their portrayal in a comical way are part of may art.
I like working with negative spaces and much of my work is in pastels or monotones. I use mixed media; acrylics, oils, and pencils on stretched canvas.
