Rolling hills is a wide mixture of fibers, yarn, cotton, wool, spun hallow and jute hanging tapestry.
The hills are like huge bumps on lands where I walked up and down to my location, feeling the wildness, freedom and the observing the different forms of land split in numerous locations with their different atmospheres.
Whenever walking to a hill, it is like a heritage in which the collective identity and memory of its population and expressed. A landscape that has significant meaning beyond what it simply looks like due to cultural associations.
The hills are just only for show, there are some secrets in what is inside of them. Everyone even you know that they are just lumps of dirt, but haven't you asked yourself what kind of dirt hills are made out of and are they different and are there numerous types of dirt. The symbolism of every rock and minerals are important components of the Earth's lithosphere and play a crucial role in soil formation and development. Like in the time of the Jurassic period, the extinction of dinosaurs was buried in many countless rumbles of different layered dirt, and even every layered of earth carries a memory of its life once outside in the open and then buried forever.
This is similar in forming this type of layering pattern on my fibred art. Forming a layer with a different shaped, patterned and sized thread that I overlapped with another layer, like a child playing with the earth
Not canvas or stretched, this is a wall tapestry on timber dowel
