Ink,water colour & Dutch Gold Leaf on very thick, card-like paper. UNFRAMED. Influenced by a a watercolour sketch done on a cruise ship just before leaving Naples. I loved the juxtaposition of old & new architecture . Lots of white paper & handwriting give the feel of the sketchbook although the work itself is very big,

My work is inspired by my love of travel, fashion. Teaching, both as a high school art teacher & art instructor to adults has given me the opportunity to experiment with different media. Watercolour & vibrant inks excite me and are evident in many works on paper. I also love to work on large canvases in acrylic paint & mixed media. My work tends to be eclectic as many different themes interest me. Overall my work is vibrant & expressive. I want the viewer to keep looking to find more & more. After teaching, ran a gallery in Perth and now working from my studio in Sydney. From 2011 to 2019 I travelled the world, working on cruise ships teaching watercolour. Hope to resume before too long!!
