This work is inspired by abstracted memories at that magical twighlight time of day— that gentle hour when the day softens, the light reflects shades of pink & mauve , and the city begins to exhale.
I’m drawn to the emotional atmosphere of places rather than their literal detail. In this piece, the bridge becomes a symbol of connection — between people, between moments, between the inner and outer world. As daylight fades and things grow quiet, there is a subtle gathering energy: families walking home, friends meeting, conversations unfolding under a changing sky.
The softened palette of blush, mauve, aqua and teal reflects that in-between time — neither day nor night — where reflection and togetherness coexist. My gestural brushstrokes allow memory to blur and reform, capturing not just the landscape, but the feeling of belonging within it.
This painting is less about a specific location and more about the universal experience of coming together as the world slows down.
