Artwork Description

I painted this to show the communication between different animals in the sea (that's what the tiny dots going to the mouths meant to me. Them communicating and being at one with the dangerous but beautiful sea.

Artist Bio

My name is Sheree Morris and I am a salt water women from Yuin Country, Sth Coast NSW. My mob are the Cambell family and the Morris/Wright/Coombes families of the Anaiwan people of Walcha New England Region in NSW.
I have been painting only since 2018 when I joined an Aboriginal parents group at LaPerouse, Ngala Nanga Mai.
My story lines are from my childhood when my Dad would take me and the family hunting, camping and fishing. Now I do that with my own children in Perth WA since our move.
