Artwork Description

A vibrant botanical composition in layered turquoise, teal and fresh greens. The scene is anchored by a coral-toned vessel with scrolling handles. The leaves surge upwards in loose, rhythmic strokes, creating a sense of movement and growth against the blue background.

This piece balances bold colour with a relaxed coastal sensibility. The palette brings energy to a space while the flowing forms keep it soft and organic.

The mock-ups show the image in a white frame which gives the colours room to breathe. Note the picture is offered unframed and the framing in the mockups is for guidance. However I can arrange framing for you, should you wish.

Artist Bio

BEYOND THE SEE

Sheree Glasson is a Sydney-born artist based on the harbour. She draws from places both lived and imagined, including her times living in western NSW, Canberra, and Latin America.

Her practice includes bold florals, harbour scenes and character-driven paintings such as the Breton Cat series. Known for strong composition, graphic line and confident colour, Sheree builds cohesive bodies of work that are clear, direct and designed to sit well in contemporary Australian homes.

Working across gouache, acrylic and occasional lino print, she is interested in simplifying form and using colour decisively. Whether painting a frangipani, a stretch of harbour water or a striped cat with a cup of coffee, her work is imaginative, energetic and expressive, while being grounded in observation and everyday life.
