Jewels of the sea, is an inspiration from the ever charming and abundant sea and the stunning jewels in every form that it has, and continues to offer us on the daily!!! It’s so mesmerizing and such an amazing part of our Mother Earth…isn’t it! The painting features the beautiful shades developed through Prussian blue, cobalt blue , whites, cold wax mixed with ground gold pigment which have come together to create the unique textures and layers in the canvas base, with multiple over layers. Guess, I got really inspired with the sea and it’s never ending layers, deep inside..there’s always the unknown and always more to explore as we dig deeper!
The star or the jewel of the painting, which brings the unique element in my creations of adding a 3d element, is the beautiful mix of crystals, which mimic the waves and the textures and layers created by the interplay and the intermesh of oils, wax and grounded gold powder, with strokes and patterns created from brushes, knives and sponge with layers of vanish to give a stunning gleam and has a play with light which the falls on the textures or the crystals, making it a stunning addition to any modern design, or a space with unique artifacts which come together to create a vibe of its own.

In my work, I aim to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary by drawing inspiration from the everyday beauty that surrounds us. Each piece starts as an inspiration from familiar moments, feelings and emotions – elements of life often overlooked in the rush of daily routines.
Through the medium of Oil on canvas, I endeavor to elevate these subjects, exploring how layers of paints, texture and color can awaken a sense of wonder and appreciation for the mundane. My creative process involves merging traditional techniques with experimental approaches, like effects through sponge, plaster of Paris, splatter of paint through toothbrush and many more. This interplay creates a dynamic visual language that reflects both the simplicity and complexity of our experiences.
What sets my paintings apart is the inclusion of three-dimensional elements that add depth and tangibility to the compositions. The 3d surfaces and the tactile qualities emphasize the materiality of the medium, creating a physical connection between the art and its audience. These 3d elements enhance the narrative of each piece, blurring the line between painting and sculpture, and prompting viewers to interact with the work from multiple perspectives.
