Silver Winds

A calming, abstract seascape created entirely with a palette knife, layering cool blues and touches of silver that blend and shift. The textured strokes give the piece a sense of gentle motion—like standing at the shore, watching the wind ripple across the water. It's all about that peaceful feeling you get by the sea.

I am a self-taught, emerging artist based in WA who uses primarily acrylic paints. I've been artistic since a young age, always carrying a sketchbook with me to school or on vacation. Although I started painting in my early 20s, since becoming a mother I have felt more compelled to take a chance on myself as an artist.
My works are often experimental, intuitively blending elements of abstract with landscape or figurative - depending on my mood or what kind or artwork I'm aiming for.
Currently, I am working through a midnight ocean series.
