This piece is all about a quiet moment at dusk, where everything feels still. A lone figure sits on the jetty, soaking in the calm water and the soft glow of the horizon. It’s a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and just be — even if just for a minute. I have used soft brushwork to blend the colours in the night sky, giving it a soft and moody feel, while using palette knife for the water, figure and jetty to create a more interesting texture.
