Artwork Description

The image features a blurred face in the foreground, which adds an element of mystery as the identity of the person is not discernible. This could symbolize anonymity, or perhaps it’s suggesting the fleeting nature of identity.

The background is a beautiful blend of pink, orange, and white swirls. These warm colors might represent emotions such as love, passion, or energy. The swirling pattern could signify chaos or confusion, but it also adds a dynamic and fluid element to the image.

Overall, the image has a dreamlike quality to it. It’s abstract and open to interpretation, allowing viewers to project their own thoughts and feelings onto it. The blurred face and swirling colors might be seen as a representation of our inner world – our thoughts, emotions, and dreams – which are often fluid and ever-changing.

Artist Bio

I'm a multimedia artist based in Sydney. I have been immersed in the arts since I was a child and later, developing an affinity for design. I always loved experimenting and pushing the boundaries of different mediums. They break away from traditional constraints, conventions or rules which speaks to my free spirit. It allows me to truly create unique original pieces from various materials.

My artworks imbue faint marks of dark inks, high grade pastels and thin ink washes to cast light contrast effects. I love using bold colours as they evoke a sense of cheerfulness seldom shown in the monotonous grey shades of reality. The bright chroma palette grabs my attention to venture into a uncharted world full of vibrancy I’m simply unable to resist. Craft cutouts are digitally planned for collage assembly on the computer to structure the designs and bind the body composition.

I work spontaneously and fluidly as my main modus operandi and style of expression, often daring to challenge myself to extremes. My imagination runs wild from the influx rush of ideas, beliefs, and experiences inspired from everyday life. They enter a crossroads between abstract and surrealism, a blend of symbols and emotive to depict the many mundane matters in such a satirical, hopeful, and comforting way, they become universal symbols of empathy. I desire to inspire a sense of communal connection that hooks the viewer in with open-mindedness to spot an element from the subject, positively engage with it and be accustomed to bond to it that will complement their personal space
