Artwork Description

An original contemporary abstract figurative painting featuring symbolic hummingbirds, layered textures, and gold leaf accents. This is inspired by transformation, femininity, and freedom; the soft blush palette creates a peaceful, ethereal atmosphere.

Artist Bio

Painting has become one of my greatest creative passions and is something I enjoy doing in my spare time. My work focuses on expressive, abstract portraits of women, using bold colours and layered textures to evoke emotion, individuality, and strength. I am particularly drawn to vibrant colour palettes, incorporating shades of pink, purple, orange, yellow, and other warm, energetic tones that bring each painting to life.

Through abstract forms and expressive brushstrokes, I aim to create artworks that encourage viewers to interpret each piece in their own way. My paintings balance realism with abstraction, allowing colour and texture to become just as important as the portrait itself. I enjoy experimenting with various painting techniques, materials, and finishes to create unique compositions that reflect my creativity and emotion.

Art provides me with a space to relax, explore new ideas, and continually develop my skills as an emerging artist. Each painting is an opportunity to express my imagination while creating meaningful and visually engaging works. As I continue my artistic journey, I hope to expand my collection, connect with a wider audience, and inspire others through colourful, contemporary artworks that celebrate confidence, beauty, and creative expression.
