I've missed my chance to see the inland-sea. I'm about 100m years too late. What I can appreciate though, is the beautiful white, salt-encrusted clay-pans that develop as these "mini seas" dry out leaving fish and plant matter stranded and bleaching in the hot outback sun. With luck they will re-emerge with the next inundation, and the next generation. My paintings are mostly optimistic descriptions of this ephemera.
