Sunset Hay Plains NSW

Driving from Booligal at sundown I was stopped in my tracks when this dramatic heavy sky, ominous with a likely storm, began to break up, revealing a striking sunset through the cloud mass, stretching to the horizon.

My first 20 years were spent in southern NSW on a farm on wonderful grey box country, then..
University at ANU surrounded by scribbly gums.
More recently south coast of NSW amongst beautiful spotted gum forests.
In between times I studied art at RCAE Wagga and TAFE Goulburn in the spare time I had running a business spanning 40 years.
Artist's trips to Alice Springs and beyond over the past decade have rekindled my interest in the textures and colours of Central Australia- ghost gum country...
There's a pattern here...
For the past 10 years I have been exhibiting and selling successfully in Sydney.
