Power is the main aspect of human nature at play here. There are many elements of power and plenty of ways to direct that power, in either the subjective right or wrong way. Yet can you direct power and influence without at least the knowledge that you control the outcome of others to an extent, and that that outcome is your construct. The piece illustrates a hand holding power over the fate of a chameleon, guiding it to success yet able to send it to damnation if it so pleases
