The actual name of this little guy is a Common Bronzewing Pigeon... While they may be numerous and seen often they are "uncommon" in the sense that when seen up close and in just the right light their wings just blaze with iridescent colour. Flying past they are generally a dull grey/brown, but when we take the time to stop and really look, they're just dazzling!
