Emerging at dawn from a tent pitched at Yangie Bay i saw that the world had been transformed, with a few metres of mist hanging over the bay. I realised there would only a fleeting chance to capture this as the day would heat up quickly, so I scrambled past slightly stunned kangaroos to the top of a peak near by, and managed to get this shot looking toward Coffin Bay.

Sometimes you feel your subject deeply through the lens. There's a clarity in you as well as in what you see. I love capturing spaces where the inner voice can be heard more clearly, where I feel more connected to what it is to be human in our world. I love to share that. Sometimes I just want to share the wonder I feel looking at the breathtaking and often weird beauty that surrounds us.
