Artwork Description

Beautiful light, rich subtle colour and a stillness, perfect for quieter contemplative spaces. Referencing Rodin's sculpture, this photo of a mobile phone user at a train station considers the contemplative realm in the modern day, in which we can reflect on the pros and cons of outsourcing thinking to AI. Muted and harmonious colours, softly emerging from shadow in balanced verticals and diagonals, contribute to the stillness.

Artist Bio

Sometimes you feel your subject deeply through the lens. There's a clarity in you as well as in what you see. I love capturing spaces where the inner voice can be heard more clearly, where I feel more connected to what it is to be human in our world. I love to share that. Sometimes I just want to share the wonder I feel looking at the breathtaking and often weird beauty that surrounds us.
