I love the balance between the white clouds against a dark sky, refelected in a way, by the dark rocks agaist a bright sand beach. Its a kind of opposite reflection. This was taken on Kangaroo Island in a bay where captains Baudin and Flinders sailed many years ago, in their tall ships. The scene would not have been dissimilar to the one presented to our present-day walker.

Sometimes you feel your subject deeply through the lens. There's a clarity in you as well as in what you see. I love capturing spaces where the inner voice can be heard more clearly, where I feel more connected to what it is to be human in our world. I love to share that. Sometimes I just want to share the wonder I feel looking at the breathtaking and often weird beauty that surrounds us.
