Tiger Minds eye is a painting about intuition & the creative dimensions that result from the artists perception. In this way one could associate the minds eye with the visual ability to understand metaphysical space or to imagine or envision other worldly dimensions (the human world vs the spiritual realm). The subject of the painting is An angelic like tiger with spots and wings that is ‘driving evil’ out of the world. This was painted in early 2024 and is also metaphorically linked to the wars that are currently going on in the middle
East & Russia. The painting as produced whilst listening to the reggae song ‘chase the devil’ by max Romeo & the upsetters. Each of my paintings uses lyrical & visual analogies and metaphors from music or life to explore themes of human existence and behaviour. Often the characters act as an alias or the instrument to describe the emotional or behavioral traits of humans and how they react to different circumstances in life.
