I have in some way borrowed from the pointillists but then given the works a modern algorithmic twist in a neo-impressionistic way.
Simon Poole (b. 1958) Bio After travelling 76ks around Australia and arriving in Cairns from Adelaide in 2001 I went back to school and achieved formal qualifications, completing a diploma in Visual art majoring in sculpture, a certificate in Public Art and finally a degree in Creative Industries. In this latest series of paintings I have in some way borrowed from the Pointillists but then given the works a modern algorithmic twist in a neo-impressinistic way.
