This sweet little painting is evocative of the south of France where the soap was found at a beautiful market. The soap smells divine and the colour is exquisitely caramel. I painted it when I returned to Australia from a painting workshop and it would make a lovely house warming gift or just for yourself in a bathroom or laundry or as a little addition to a gallery wall to break up the sizes of your pieces.
