The colour of the pears when I saw them in the market inspired the palette of this artwork and was my inspiration. I then wanted to paint something that would sit well within a group of collected items on a kitchen shelf or on a gallery wall with other artworks, in a family home, airbnb or other accommodation for a unique interior.
