Commissions Welcome - by Sioux Tempestt - The artwork shown was a commissioned painting (SOLD) I created for a client with a particular colour palette to suit their decor.

You can commission me to paint either on a roll of canvas which you can have stretched and framed (easy for shipping) or on a custom made canvas, the size of your choosing. Alternatively, I can paint a mural at your home or office, either indoors or outside. Size is no barrier as I've painted up to a massive 400 square metres!

Transcending creative disciplines Sioux Tempestt creates abstract, mural, sculptural and digital art. Traversing across different mediums and scale of works enables Sioux to push creative boundaries. Through materiality and physicality, her expressive abstractions intuitively fuse colour and form. Her work aims to create a narrative and connection as Sioux believes art plays an intrinsic contribution to our wellbeing, health, and happiness.

Sioux’s studio-based practice explores paint and mixed media works on canvas and board; digital and photographic compositions; poetry and writing; video; sound and music. Working across other mediums such as metal, acrylic, wood and recycled materials Sioux creates 3D permanent and ephemeral sculptural public artworks. Large scale murals also form part of Sioux’s practice with over 50 painted throughout Perth.

Sioux has delivered 11 solo exhibitions and exhibited in numerous group shows. Recent achievements include Finalist, Mid West Art Prize 2023; Finalist, Town of Claremont Art Prize 2023; and Finalist, City of Stirling Art Award 2023.
