A small study in acrylics exploring the abstraction of geological form. Built from a Brisbane creek—its banks and rocks—rendered through layered marks and colour rather than literal description. Blacks, greys, ochres, and pale blues work across the surface to suggest stone and water in flux.

Based in Brisbane, I am a painter working in oil, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas. After a two-year hiatus between 2023 and 2025, I returned full-time to the studio with a shift from representational work to abstraction — paint as its own subject, where surface and gesture carry what image once conveyed.
My work has been exhibited across Australia since 2011, with pieces held in private collections locally and throughout the US and Europe.
