A restrained palette of grey, white and raw ochre carries the weight of this work — paint applied with urgency, scraped back, overwritten. Carbon ink traces move beneath the surface like something half-remembered. The marks are quick but the stillness that follows them is not.

Based in Brisbane, I am a painter working in oil, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas. After a two-year hiatus between 2023 and 2025, I returned full-time to the studio with a shift from representational work to abstraction — paint as its own subject, where surface and gesture carry what image once conveyed.
My work has been exhibited across Australia since 2011, with pieces held in private collections locally and throughout the US and Europe.
