Driving around Brisbane after the rain. Elizabeth street. So many red lights with all these lovely reflections on the wet road. I think it's a very atmospheric, moody painting and captures well my feelings about the scene.

Based in Brisbane, I am a painter working in oil, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas. After a two-year hiatus between 2023 and 2025, I returned full-time to the studio with a shift from representational work to abstraction — paint as its own subject, where surface and gesture carry what image once conveyed.
